A Legacy of Quality
McLendon-Kogut Reporting Service was formed in 1981 when Laura Kogut purchased McLendon Reporting Service from Jack McLendon, a well-respected court reporter with over four decades of experience in the Louisville, Kentucky area. During his career Jack mentored, taught, and motivated many young reporters. Jack was extremely particular about the transcripts he created and passed his careful attention to detail on to Laura. In tribute to Jack, his name has remained with the firm to this day.
Since inception, MKRS has consistently embraced state-of-the-art technology in order to provide the highest quality, most cost-effective reporting services available to our clients. Our highly trained reporters function as impartial professionals in the litigation setting. Accurate transcripts are delivered promptly, then archived and available for future reference.
With our staff of realtime stenographic reporters, we also provide CART captioning services, the fastest, most accurate speech-to-text translation available, in a variety of environments ranging from one-on-one CART in an educational setting to large conventions. Our firm provides more realtime in a wider variety of settings than any other firm in the area.
From the simplest deposition to the most complex trial, our focus is client satisfaction. We are grateful for our loyal clients and welcome the opportunity to develop new relationships.
